The majority of the collection - one of the largest in the Kansas City area - comprises material that, through use or association, represents the history of the Kansas City area. Items range from cameras to cars, blenders to bicycles, TVs to typewriters, tools to toys.
The collections are the result of the merger of the Kansas City Museum Association and the Union Station Assistance Corporation in 2001.
