Field Trips

Field trips to Union Station, Science City and the Kansas City Museum are real attention-grabbers designed to fully engage the kids in your group. We provide a genuine learning experience that simply can't be duplicated for schools, scouts, church organizations or any other youth group.

We've got programs designed for pre K all the way through the 12th grade.

The field trip planner for the 2008-2009 school year is now available to download (PDF). All programs and events, as we know them, for Science City and the Kansas City Museum are included.

Scheduling Your Field Trip

• Call 816-460-2020 (Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) for more information or to schedule your field trip.

Planning Ahead

• We'll help you plan ahead with a confirmation packet that includes pre-visit educational materials, lunch options, conduct expectations, bus information and more. Download the Safety Procedures (PDF) and Recycling Polices (PDF) right now.
  
  

• For every 10 kids, one adult chaperone is required. One chaperone per five kids is recommended.
  
  

• The Coca-Cola Break Room in the Sprint Festival Plaza is available for lunch or snack FREE with reservation. Space is limited.
  
  

• Lunchroom and picnic facilities are also available at the Kansas City Museum.
  
  

• Arrive at least 15 minutes before programming starts for your group's orientation.
