“Seasons and Cycles” is a concert event that examines our relationship with nature and the importance of cyclical change. The program, curated by KC-based saxophonist Kyle Jones, showcases the expressive range of the instrument while also highlighting some of the most important composers writing for the saxophone today. This concert features the world premiere of Paul Berlinsky’s “Still Point,” inspired by the winter solstice and the poetry of Margaret Atwood. Blending acoustic performance, electronics, visuals, and storytelling; you won’t want to miss this immersive experience!
