Join us for Worldwide Day of Play!
For the first time ever, Science City is participating in Nickelodeon and the Association of Children’s Museum Worldwide Day of Play! This exciting event is part of Nickelodeon and ACM’s global campaign to dedicate experiences for all children to become inspired and joyful through the power of play! Spend the day at Science City and enjoy educator-led demos, contests, and special activities!
International Day of Play Activity Schedule

All activities are subject to change.
Chalk Drawing: (Outside) 10 am – 4 pm
Get creative in our outdoor area by creating your own games and drawing with sidewalk chalk!.
Parachute Play: (Outside) 11 am, 1 pm and 2 pm
Join an educator led session of parachute play with other guests where we will be using a parachute to work together and play various games.
(Note: This activity might be moved inside based on weather.)
Hula Hooping: Maze Park 3pm – 4pm
Practice your hula hooping skills with open ended hula hoop time, culminating with a contest at 3:30 where we will see who can hula hoop the longest by age range!
Giant Bubble Making: (Outside) 4pm
Learn how to make a giant bubble with an educator led demo and explore bubble making using various tools.
