Union Station Announces Next Highly Anticipated Touring Exhibition: Bricktionary: The Ultimate LEGO® A-Z Opening October 28, 2023

This international exhibition features more than 150 LEGO^® models including a life-sized Orca, a massive Saturn V Rocket, multiple Build Stations, and a brilliant combination of fascinating STEAM aspects and flat-out FUN.

KANSAS CITY, MO – Today, Union Station leadership announced the next international touring exhibition Bricktionary: The Ultimate LEGO^® A-Z – presented by Twin Lakes Insurance Agency – set to open October 28^th in Union Station’s Bank of America Gallery. The hands-on experience will open on the heels of three highly successful, internationally produced exhibitions: Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing (summer 2023), Maya: The Great Jaguar Rises (summer 2022 – spring 2023) and Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. (summer 2021 – spring 2022).

Featuring more than 150 custom-built LEGO^® models, Bricktionary is inspired by simple letters and boundless imagination. From leaping Orcas that tower overhead to Saturn V rockets that stretch from floor to ceiling, the exhibition pushes the limits of what’s possible with LEGO^® bricks.

Within the multiple galleries, guests will get hands on while learning about the creation of the largest LEGO^® models.  Plus, there are dozens of epic selfie opportunities alongside LEGO^® brick creations.  And, when inspiration strikes, guests are invited to put their imaginations to work and create something amazing!

Bricktionary encourages amateur and expert builders alike to get first-hand experience through interactive build zones. You can build a LEGO^® brick model and test it against the Bricktionary earthquake machine. Or build a LEGO^® brick robot, create a tail-wagging canine, room-cleaning wizard, deep-sea diving explorer and more. The sky is really the limit. Guests will embrace their creativity and let their imaginations take flight.

Bricktionary: The Ultimate LEGO^® A – Z is conceived and curated by the noted Australian, Ryan “Brickman” McNaught and his team of highly skilled LEGO^® brick model builders and craftspeople.  One of only 21 world-wide LEGO^®Certified Professionals (LCP), McNaught is the only such Professional in the entire Southern Hemisphere. Additionally, McNaught is a star judge on the hit Australian-based show, LEGO^® Masters Australia, where teams compete to create astonishing LEGO^® builds. The Brickman team has strategically crafted more than 45 of the brick models on display in this interactive exhibition, bringing imagination to life by creating LEGO^® masterpieces one alphabet letter at a time.
