Our Favorite Fits From Fashion Week in Kansas City

Union Station opened our doors to KC Fashion Week this fall, and it proved yet again why it’s one of our favorite events of the season. The lights of our hallowed halls put local designers in the spotlight as KC fashion took the world stage. So dig into the standout designers from the show!

Astoria Jackson

Our first designer is blazing a path forward to make fashion for everybody. Body positivity is on full display in every exquisitely designed piece. Astoria Jackson is no stranger to the Midwest fashion scene, so we’re always proud to have her work on display under the lights year after year.

House of Miri

One of the region’s hottest designers is redefining style with every new piece. Union Station turned into the House of Miri as we displayed the freshest style grown locally in Overland Park. With every carefully curated piece, there’s something for everyone to love from this local design guru.

Justin Christine

On the razor’s edge of worldwide fashion, Justin Christine gave us a feast for the senses with his fall/winter line for 2023. Subtle yet striking cuts, profiles, and materials all come together to give this designer a voice that can be heard around the world right here at Union Station. We couldn’t think of a better place for Lauren to unveil her latest lines!

Libbi Jessen

In her return to KC Fashion Week, hometown hero Libbi Jessen is no stranger to making waves! She commands the runway and the airwaves as a co-host on a locally loved podcast, Three Cheese Blend. We’re just excited to hear her insights on Spotify as we are to host Libbi next year!

These groundbreaking designers are making waves in the KC fashion scene with a tsunami of expertly paired patterns and designs created for those who live on the wild side of style. With their second return to KCFW at Union Station, we’re excited to welcome them back next year!

SKYE|AIRE

There’s high fashion, then there’s “skye high” fashion. With outrageous, boundary-shattering designs, this designer brought the house down this fall. Striking power designs are exactly how SKYE|AIRE introduced the world of high fashion to Union Station. We can’t wait to see what they have in store next year!

The Shepherd’s Mill

Fall vibes were on full display with designs from The Shepherd’s Mill. Sally Brandon is a designer, teacher, mother, and the beauty and brains behind every hand-weaved design. Her work truly blends the best of cozy and couture. Sally invites others to join in the fun all season long with her hand-curated line of yarn and other weaving essentials. 

Zee Wear

Last but not least is one of the brightest stars we hosted under the lights of the Grand Hall this fall. Zee Wear is a top jewelry company right here in KC, with intricate, one-of-a-kind pieces that make anyone proud to be from the city of fountains! Keep your eye out for Zeretta’s signature shine wherever fun and fashion meet!
