What a winter wonderland outside! Pretty to look at, but not pleasant for getting around town. Thanks to the dozens of Kansas City Southern and Union Station volunteers and dedicated staff, however, we were open today and welcomed thousands of guests to visit Santa and tour the Holiday Express Train.
At the same time, the weather understandably kept many of you home, prompting questions regarding our plans for tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday.
If you are a Union Station Member and had complimentary reservations for today — but weren’t able to join us — we invite you to bring your Member Card and reservation receipt at your convenience and we’ll do our best to work you into the reserved line as slots present as unfilled.
Non-Members with missed complimentary reservations are also invited to show your receipt and we’ll work — as availability allows — to put you in line. If all reserved slots are filled, we’ll invite you to join us in GA, which will still allow you to see Santa and the Holiday Express. Again, if possible, arrive early.
And as has been the case, our General Admission line will be open to everyone and filled as guests arrive. If you were planning to join us in GA, come at your convenience, although the earlier the better.
A special thanks go to all of you who’ve contacted us about these weather-related circumstances. Your sentiment and spirit of understanding is very appreciated. We’ll do our very best to accommodate everyone who joins us tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday. We have convenient covered parking and a beautiful, warm holiday wonderland to greet you as you wait inside the Station to see Santa and the Holiday express. Drive safely and Happy Holidays from your friends at Union Station.
