Kansas City, MO – Today, Union Station officials announced the return of “Holiday Reflections”, an enchanted family destination set to open on Nov. 21st and presented by CPKC.
For the sixth year in a row — and having welcomed over 700,000 guests — “Holiday Reflections” returns to Union Station’s Grand Plaza spanning a remarkable 27,000 sqf and filled with stunning new visuals and magical family moments everywhere you turn.
“Last year, nearly 210,000 guests experienced Union Station’s Holiday attractions – whether they were watching a Holiday Classic Movie in our Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre or exploring our enchanted Holiday Reflections Village – we were an integral part of their memory making,” George Guastello, president and CEO of Union Station said. “We are a totally unique and cherished Holiday destination that visitors look forward to each year. In fact, Union Station has become THE holiday destination for families across the Metro and beyond. ENHANCED – Marvel at brilliant recreations of Kansas City’s historic Holiday Crowns that once decorated nine downtown intersections and welcomed shoppers to the heart of the city. Each Crown Chandelier sparkles with more than 20,000 crystals.
ENCHANTED – Step into our spectacular new Gingerbread Village featuring an all-new entrance, a 30-foot-tall twinkling tree, life-size gingerbread and candy displays, and the historic Jones Store mini ride-on train. Tickets: $5, free for members.
EXCITING – Buckle up for a holiday-themed Virtual Reality Ride, transporting you and your family to a holiday wonderland for a 4D, fully immersive adventure. Presented by Ford Motor Company. $6 General Admission and $4 Members.
