Suman Chaudhary – Transforming Kidney Transplant Monitoring through dd-cfDNA Assay

Transplant Rejection Allograft Check + Infectious Disease) kidney donor-derived cell-freeDNA (dd-cfDNA) assay examines transplant recipient plasma to monitor the percentage of dd-cfDNA in transplant recipient plasma post-transplant using NGS. Both non-pathogenic and pathogenic viral DNA can be quantified.

Suman Chaudhary is a strategic pharmaceutical R&D executive and translational science leader with more than 15 years of experience driving innovation across molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, clinical development, and genomics. She has a proven track record of translating scientific discoveries into clinically meaningful and commercially viable solutions, with deep expertise in solid organ transplantation, non-invasive laboratory-developed tests (LDTs), donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA), and multi-omics biomarker development.

Suman completed graduate training in Clinical Bioinformatics through the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University and holds an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Allahabad, India. She is a recipient of the UMKC Women’s Graduate Fellowship (2009–2013) and the author of Sequencing, Finishing, Analyzing in The Future.
